Cesar Lastra

Cesar is a purpose-driven, consumer-first, front-end innovator with a background in strategy, insights and capability building. He brings a global perspective into the room and advocates a hands-on approach to making change and innovation happen. He will partner with individuals, SME’s and large multinationals in order to understand what's the problem they're solving for, build evidence and help them translate consumer jobs to be done (JTBD) into value propositions that lead to new product and service design innovation.

In addition to his experience leading consumer insight and innovation for a full-service, end-to-end innovation agency, which included moderating qualitative research, he is the founder of Bash and Build, a design thinking-led consultancy and previously spent 20+ years working in FMCG corporate roles such as Young & Rubicam, Colgate-Palmolive, The Coca-Cola Company and SABMiller, based out of the U.S., Latin America, and Europe.

Cesar believes in helping people and organisations find their purpose, while learning new and responsible ways to run a profitable business. He channels this work through the Royal Society of Arts Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA) where he is a Fellow and member of the Reinventing Work stream.
